the gift-a-meal program is one of send chinatown love’s biggest initiatives. when people donate to this campaign, 100% of the proceeds goes toward providing hot meals for community members in need. first, the organization partners with a chinatown merchant to prepare meals for pickup. then, meal distribution to the community is coordinated with other non-profits and food pantries.
